Hello Pumpkin!! LOL (Corny I know but I couldn’t resist)
So I saw this White Cremanic Pumpkin Lantern on an Instagram story the other day that I fell in love, I wish I had a Pic to show but I don’t…..sorry. I searched Google for it or one like it with no luck #sadface, so I decided to just make my own. Now I can’t do pottery or ceramics so off to the Wal-Mart I went in search of a plastic pumpkin!
FOUND ONE! YAY!!

Now that I had my pumpkin I gathered my other supplies I knew I would need to complete the look.
White Paint (I use chalk paint but whatever you like with work)
Paint Brush
Exacto Knife
Polycrylic (optional)
Battery-Operated Tealight

The first thing I needed to do was remove the eyes, nose, and mouth so with my exacto knife I carefully cut out the face of my Jack-O-Lantern. **Please use extreme caution when using the exacto knife, I may or may not have had one fall directly on my foot stabbing my big toe…is no fun!!

Once I removed his facial features it was time to paint him so I grabbed my paint & brush and started painting . Now I am going to be totally honest with you if you do not already have some paint at home just grab a can of whit spray paint it will save you time to just spray it vs. brush painting.

Once I was finished painting my Jack-O-Lantern I wanted to add a gloss sheen to him give him a ceramic look so this is when I grabbed my Polycrylic in Gloss and give him one good coat on the outside only.

My Jack-O-Lantern turned out exactly how I wanted him too. I added a battery-operated tealight and he was ready to shine!
I just love how he turned out, I hope you do too and if you make one for yourself we would love to see how yours turns out!!
